NextClinic offers a select choice of slightly expanded standard telehealth services and is currently broadening its offering. It’s mid-range pricing and 1-hour turnarounds make it a solid choice. 

NextClinic is anAustralian telehealth provider offering medical certificates, prescriptions, referrals, ED treatment and telehealth consultations. It provides relatively fast access to most services, typically within one hour, but is slower than top-rated providers such as Hola Health. At the time of this review, NextClinic had just expanded its offering to include ED treatment plans and announced further updates on its website.

NextClinic offers a slightly reduced range of standard telehealth services, similar to that of some other mid-range providers.

Online Prescriptions: NextClinic offers new eScripts and repeats. It charges slightly more than, for example, the quick InstantScripts’ service.

Medical Certificate: NextClinic’s medical certificates are issued for work, school, uni, and carer’s leave. The certificates are usually issued within one business hour.

General Consultation: General consultations with AHPRA-registered practitioners cost $49.90. ED Treatment Plans: These are offered as Classic and Weekender option at $1/ day.

NextClinic mid-range telehealth provider that offers a select range of services, including recently branching out into ED treatment. Its turnaround time of 60 minutes is reasonably fast, in line with most competitors. However it doesn’t provide any bulk billing, pathology/ imaging referrals, or medication delivery. This means, compared to comprehensive providers such as Prime Medic, NextClinic offers fewer specialised services. NextClinic offers a solid choice for most patients, so long as your needs match its service list.
