Bottom Line:
Telehealth services provided by nurses with limited availability and a lack of customer service. Â
Telehealth services provided by nurses with limited availability and a lack of customer service. Â
My Telehealth Clinic offers phone or video consultations during business hours with AHPRA-registered nurses. Their services include medical certificates and some repeat scripts as well as women’s, kids’, and mental health care appointments. Most services are available with some bulk-billing (or low gap fees) and same day consultations on weekdays.Â
1. Bulk billing is available on services like nurses’ consultations, kids’ clinic, mental health care appointments, and more. This makes more services free or lower priced than with most other providers, although some, like Prime Medic, offer select bulk billing.Â
2. Speedy script delivery within one hour by partner Script2U – across more areas and faster than, for example, Healthy Life. Â
3. Specialised women’s health consults and kids’ clinic, which aren’t noted explicitly with most other providers. Â
1. Neither AHPRA-registered doctors nor GPs are available, unlike with most other providers, including GP2U.
2. Minimal availability of customer service and nurse practitioners, with ratings below most other providers.Â
3. Very high pricing for an extended women’s health clinic appointment at $170, which isn’t comparable to similar providers – most specialised services would offer a doctor’s consultation and/or bulk-bill part or all of it.Â

AHPRA-registered nurse practitioners deliver all services at My Telehealth Clinic. And quite a few services are fully bulk billed. This sets the provider apart from the bulk of telehealth providers. Most providers state they use AHPRA-registered doctors or other health practitioners (including nurses and General Practitioners). There isn’t much specific information available for many of the services, unlike most services, such as Hub Health, where the information on each service site is very detailed and specific.Â
Online Prescriptions: Scripts can be requested and delivered within one hour via partner Script2U in selected areas.Â
Nurses’ Consultations: Nurses’ consultations typically last 15 minutes. They can be conducted by a telehealth appointment via phone or video call. They include general check-ups and mental health support.Â
Doctor Appointments: Women’s health appointments are available in short or extended form. There isn’t much information available on the website.Â
Kids’ Clinic Appointments: Kids’ clinic appointments are bulk-billed and provided by the same practitioners.Â
Weight Loss Support: Weight loss clinic offers medical weight loss solutions via bulk billing.Â
Medical Certificate: Medical certificate requests usually are addressed on the same day, unless received after hours.

My Telehealth Clinic offers more bulk billing than most other telehealth providers, other than 13SICK, which is fully bulk-billed but only available after hours. Even without a Medicare card, costs are more affordable than, for example, with GP-led telehealth services such as Instant Consult.Â
Wait times at My Telehealth Clinic are longer than with most other telehealth services. When I checked, the next available appointment was 9.20 am the next morning, and the only appointments I could see were after 9 am and before 4 pm.Â

The site is basic in its navigation and layout. Multiple service options, such as the kids’ clinic, do not have more info when you click on “learn more” but instead take you straight to the booking page. Â
The booking process is not very well-designed: Instead of giving you all appointment slots or clearly highlighting the next available, you have to select a practitioner and then see their availability for the week. Â
The FAQs are very limited, with only two options, and the price list only includes general consultations. Â
Overall, the site feels like an afterthought and is not focused on delivering an intuitive user experience. It is more basic than any other site I have reviewed.Â

There is no privacy policy available on the site. Instead, My Telehealth Clinic website has uploaded a link to the AustralianÂ
Charter of Healthcare Rights [2], which does not go into detail on how the service keeps your data secure. Â
This lack of information is atypical in the telehealth industry. Most other providers, including Prime Medic, offer a detailed privacy policy, including information on how your data is stored and how to review or appeal the data held.Â

Customer service provides multiple ways of getting in touch and extended opening hours. However, reviews on ProductReview [1], Trustpilot, and Google come to around two out of five stars, with many users saying customer service does not reply at all. According to users, medical certificates are often not received, customers are charged more than the rate stated on the site (with no refund of the difference), and calls are very short (45 seconds, for example) or not received at all. Several users warn that My Telehealth Clinic isn’t legitimate, as they neither receive their service nor their money back. Â
According to the reviews, you cannot expect a return call from customer service for days, if at all. Â
While My Telehealth Clinic states it offers 24/7 consultations, this is not reflected in its booking tool (which shows the availability of nurse practitioners). There are plenty of advertised services delivered by nurses at varying costs, including some bulk billing, but it is unclear if they are always available. Wait times are stated as two hours, but may vary significantly due to the limited availability of nurses. Also, user reviews show that customer service and delivery of requested medical certificates or other services may not be timely. Â
All information provided is based on independent research and fact-checked. The information does not represent medical advice. Telehealth cannot replace in-person assessments and should always be used in conjunction with your primary doctor’s supervision. Please get in touch with your GP with any medical questions you may have. Â
