Healthcare From Anywhere Review

Last Updated:

pinBottom Line:

Brand new, small low-cost telehealth provider (2025) offering a more personal touch than most other providers. These are comprehensive services for patients not requiring urgent care.

Overview

Healthcare from Anywhere is an online telehealth clinic with a focus on children and menopause services as well as weight loss programs, and general practice. It provides a very personal approach as it is run by two AHPRA-registered Nurse Practitioners, an unusual approach compared to most telehealth providers, such as Prime Medic, which offer a wide variety of doctors but often don’t allow you to pick the professional for your consult. This provider offers bulk billing for most services, making it more budget-friendly than most other providers, including the popular Hola Health.

Pros and Cons

Pros:

1. Most services are bulk-billed, sometimes even fully, making Healthcare from Anywhere very budget-friendly.

2. The listed Nurse Practitioners (NPs) are specialised in menopause, paediatric services, emergency medicine, and general practice.

3. This service takes a more personalised approach, and you can book the same NP for follow-ups, while some larger providers, like Updoc do not offer that option.

Cons:

1. Limited number of NPs available, even compared to My Telehealth Clinic which offers similar NP-delivered services, likely resulting in longer wait times for appointments.

2. Shorter hours than most telehealth providers, for example the 24/7 Hola Health.

3. This service was registered in February 2025 and there are no reviews available yet. In-depth business information is also scarce. This is unusual in the telehealth space.

Nurse Practitioner-Delivered Bulk-Billed General and Specialist Services

Led by two AHPRA-registered Nurse Practitioners (NPs), Healthcare from Anywhere is linked to two main specialty services, a menopause clinic and weight loss program. However, the website also offers full general practice services and a paediatric focus. The services are only available with two NPs, similar to My Telehealth Clinic, which also offers specific NPs to book with.

The personal approach is one of the key differences to other telehealth providers’ services, as it also allows patients to have follow-ups and continuity with the same NP.

All services are bulk billed.

Prescription

Medical Certificate: Medical certificate services are fully bulk billed.

Return Prescription

Prescriptions: Prescriptions, pathology, imaging, and specialist referrals all require a consultation and cost $34 after Medicare rebate.

GP Referral

General Consultations: General consultations for adults attract a $34 gap fee. They are required for most services other than medical certificates.

Weight Loss

Weight Loss Support: Weight loss consultations are treated as a general consultation, costing a $34 gap fee. However, the actual services are described on the linked Downscale weight loss program’s site.

Medical Certificate

Kids Clinic Appointments: Kids clinic appointments are delivered by NP Justin, who is well-versed in child health, including emergency medicine for children. Paediatric consultations are fully bulk billed.

Telehealth consultation

Menopause Clinic Appointments: Menopause clinic appointments with NP Mel cost $34 after Medicare rebate. The NP has a special interest in women’s health and menopause advocacy and treatment in particular.

Very Long Wait Times, Yet Highly Affordable

Healthcare from Anywhere provides highly affordable telehealth as a budget telehealth service. It is unusually affordable for a private telehealth provider, especially one providing a level of specialisation in specific areas including menopause, weight loss, and paediatric care. The services are comprehensive but also require weeks of advance booking at times, making the service much less available than most other telehealth providers, including the fully bulk-billed 13SICK and Abby Health. In fact, this is the slowest telehealth provider I have vetted for MediCompare to date.

The pricing is structured as follows:

    • General consultation costs $34 (after rebate). It is required for prescriptions, pathology, imaging, and specialist referrals. At time of reviewing, the next available appointment was in two weeks’ time.
    • Kids’ clinic and medical certificates are fully bulk billed. While no separate wait time is listed, I tried contacting their virtual assistant and the link does not work.

Note: Most services are not specifically listed on the homepage, but the FAQ section has more information.

    User Experience

Personal Feel, Lacking in Professionalism and Functionality

    Navigation & Information Clarity:

Healthcare from Anywhere’s website takes a more personal approach, emphasising the two NPs providing the services. This makes the site slightly harder to navigate, as some sections directly contradict others, for example, the bio of NP Mel Rose and the intro to the service highlight her focus on menopause specifically. When booking, this is instead presented as women’s health overall. Similarly, some sections highlight the NPs experience in emergency departments and general practice, whereas other sections focus on weight loss, kids’ clinic, and other conditions. While they are technically all linked, it is an unusual approach to highlight a very small aspect of women’s health specifically as a service’s expertise and then not use the same description in the booking section.

The site also does not provide some key business details, such as opening hours, wait times, and a simple list of services and pricing. While not all competitors’ sites offer this straight up on the homepage, the most highly rated ones do, including Hola Health.

    Booking Process:

The booking process also has personal touches, such as the description stating, “sorry we know this is no fun”.

The bios for the NPs, booking calendar and service description to not quite match up. For example, NP Mel is described as a menopause specialist in her bio and the service description offers a “menopause clinic” booking, whereas the booking function offers a “women’s health consult”. There are similar discrepancies in the way the other practitioner is described vs the service itself and the booking. While none of these are major mismatches, they are enough to be slightly confusing when navigating the site and booking process.

Confusingly, if you click on book with NP Justin, it takes you to the Downscale weight loss clinic but not to a booking page.

    Functionality and Purchases:

Functionality on the site is limited. A number of the links and functions do return errors or link to pages you wouldn’t expect to open when clicking the link. The site is designed with and “powered by GoDaddy Airo”, a basic website solution for small businesses and private customers, which explains the functionality issues.

If you click on the resources link, for example for “skin and hair solutions”, it links to a store for Downscale, Healthcare from Anywhere and Man Clinic. The store then offers a guide to kids’ eczema and a firming lotion, which may not match patients’ expectations when they are looking for “skin and hair solutions” on a telehealth site.

If you click on the menopause guide button, it returns a “page not found” error. Overall, this happens repeatedly while browsing the site, which is quite unusual in the telehealth space. I have not come across the same problem on this scale on any other sites I vetted.

Overall, the Healthcare from Anywhere site is hard-to-navigate and at times confusing. Similar to the sites of other smaller telehealth providers, such as Midoc, it does not feel very smooth and user-friendly. There are, however, no user reviews available online yet, as the business was only registered in February 2025 [1]. This is perhaps the newest provider, I have reviewed.

    Privacy and Data Security H2

    No Privacy Policy Available

Healthcare from Anywhere does not have a publicly available privacy policy, which is highly unusual in the telehealth space. Even some smaller providers such as My Telehealth Clinic offer this on their website, as the responsible handling of sensitive health data and confidential information is one of the requirements for telehealth providers as outlined by the AHPRA [2].

    Customer Support H2

    Customer Support Very Limited

If you need customer service help, the site offers a web form and an email option. Expected response times are not given and due to the business only being registered half a year ago, there are no customer reviews available anywhere on the web yet. The site refers to a virtual receptionist and a registered nurse who will get back to you. However, the link returns a 404 error - page not found. This lack of customer service availability puts Healthcare from Anywhere at the bottom of all telehealth providers I have vetted.

Operating hours are not stated anywhere on the site.

    FAQs

No, the business is registered in Queensland.

Yes. NPs don’t have he same in-person visit requirements as GPs do. They can offer bulk billed telehealth without a requirement of seeing the NP in person at least once every 12 months.

It looks like the app may be linked to a UK business.

No. While the hours of operation are not stated, this is very unlikely. The booking function requires advance scheduling and there are only two NPs involved at this stage.

Yes. It does look like the business is registered to Melanie Rosenzweig aka Mel Rose [2]. However, it lacks a privacy policy, professional website, and reviews.

The cost and the level of expertise, especially in menopause, that the NPs bring.

    Conclusion

    Personal, Low-Cost Provider

This small and very new telehealth provider (2025) offers a more personal approach than most other providers. While the available services are comprehensive, the wait times are very long for the telehealth space. Healthcare from Anywhere aims to bring specialised services such as menopause, paediatric, and weight loss assistance to remote and rural communities at a low cost. Essentially, this is a small private provider with a social mission. It is a good option, if you are looking for affordable telehealth assistance and do not require urgent care.
