Nethel’s Writing Philosophy

Nethel’s approach to health content is grounded in safe, holistic, evidence-based practice, with a strong focus on patient wellbeing. She writes with the same care she brings to clinical environments, prioritising accuracy, clarity, and responsible communication, especially when discussing treatments, medicines, and health decisions.

Q&A with Nethel Veloso

Sleep is essential because it’s when the body restores itself. I always try to get eight hours of sleep each night and maintain good habits before bed.

Many people tend to self-medicate or rely on “Dr Google” instead of seeking professional advice.

If something sounds too good to be true, it usually is. Checking multiple sources for the same information also helps you decide whether advice is trustworthy.

I like to focus on health information because I believe it helps people feel more confident and informed. Especially when comparing services and understanding their options.

I enjoy reading, playing online games, cooking, walking the dog and binge-watching TV shows.
