Q&A with Kiara
What would be your advice for those trying to live a healthier lifestyle?
Make small, realistic, and achievable goals. The creation of healthy habits requires time and consistency.
What inspires you to work in the healthcare industry?
Knowing that I can make a positive impact to patients and readers on both an individual and wider scale through my actions and teaching. I’m passionate about my work and honestly love what I do.
How can you spot bad health advice in copy?
It generally lacks the facts and references needed and is vague rather than providing specific information. If you read it and it seems too good to be true, it usually is.
What inspired you to write about health or telehealth topics?
Having been both a clinician and a patient in the healthcare space, especially since Telehealth gained momentum during COVID, I feel I can share a unique perspective that advises others and helps improve healthcare and Telehealth services.
What value matters most to you when it comes to healthcare access?
Honesty and transparency. Healthcare access should be readily available to all.
