The Aussie Scripts app enables patients to easily access their accounts, request new services, and receive updates on pathology results and prescriptions.
In terms of clarity, I found the process to be very straightforward. Each service includes a brief explanation of its contents, pricing, and what patients can expect in terms of turnaround time. The necessary steps are also outlined clearly.
However, the prescription delivery process through partner pharmacies is not explained in detail. I found information under FAQs and T & Cs, which leads me to believe that delivery is likely available in most cases, but only initiated by Aussie Scripts. It is also unclear how Aussie Scripts handles MHTPs after the recent changes to telehealth bulk billing [2]. The service offers MHTPs explicitly (in its FAQs, too), but does not expand on whether they are bulk-billed.
Finally, the explicit mention of common weight loss medications in its FAQ section is against TGA guidelines [4] and may lead patients to specifically select the service to obtain these medications.
Overall, the website offers a fast and accessible service with a clean design and quick processing times.
